When you’re young, falling in love can be complicated. I wrote this song about that experience people have during a break up, when there’s no reason to hate the other person even though you want to. You just wish that they’d hurt you so it’s easier to tie your heart back together. I’m so proud of how this song turned out and I hope you enjoy it.
Transitions
Turning 21 came with multiple pivotal moments in my life. I graduated with a bachelors degree, had to start paying my own bills, and even the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. With everything that happened, I wished someone had eased me into adulthood before throwing my into the pool and expecting me to swim.
Germaphobic World
The first two weeks of the pandemic left me stuck in dorm room with no one round and just wanting to be in the comfort and safety of my parents home. I could not go anywhere and felt so much anxiety because in that moment we knew nothing. I wrote this song as a cry for help when I did not know what else to do.
